The Mindbook administration cares about the privacy of its users and has developed this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") to demonstrate its commitment to protecting the personal information of its users. This policy is designed to inform Mindbook users about the information collected and stored by the Administration, and how this information is used.

This policy applies to all information and data that Sole Proprietor M.V. Shiyanov (hereinafter referred to as the "Administration") may obtain about an Internet user (hereinafter referred to as the "User") using the service "https://mindbook.ai/" (hereinafter referred to as "Mindbook"), including the Site.

The User's use of Mindbook signifies full acceptance (without any changes, additions, or omissions) by the User of this Policy and the terms of processing their personal information (personal data) specified therein. The applicable law for this policy is the law of the Russian Federation. All disputes regarding the policy are resolved in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation at the location of the Administration.

If the User disagrees with the terms of this Policy, to terminate the Policy in relation to them, the User must cease using Mindbook, including visiting the Site, and delete their account. The User can continue to use the Mindbook services without registration, but in this case, sections intended for registered users will not be available to them.

Personal Information of Users Received and Processed by Mindbook

This Policy defines "User Personal Information" as personal data that the User provides about themselves during registration (creating an account) on the Site.

The mandatory information that is provided by the user when creating an account includes:

  • User's Name
  • User's Mobile Phone Number
  • User's Valid Email Address
  • Agreement with the Terms of the User Agreement and Privacy Policy

Optional information includes:

  • Avatar (an image placed by the User next to their name);
  • Gender;
  • Date of Birth;
  • Occupation;
  • Country of Registration;
  • About Me;
  • Passport data (only if the user requests a withdrawal from the virtual account). Passport data will be requested for bank transfers and will not be stored on Mindbook resources.
  • Data automatically transmitted to Mindbook during use through software installed on the User's device, including IP address (User's unique computer number), cookie information (allowing identification of the User's browser and storing User settings and other information), information about the User's browser (or other software used to access Mindbook), access time, and the address of the requested page.

This Policy applies only to Mindbook. The Administration does not control and is not responsible for third-party websites that the User may access via links available on the Site, and the use of personal information provided by the User on third-party websites.

The Administration does not verify the accuracy of the Personal Information provided by Users and does not control their legal capacity, assuming that the User provides accurate and sufficient Personal Information and keeps this information up to date.

Any changes to the policy take effect from the moment the new version of the policy is published on the site. Continued use of Mindbook services by the user will signify their full acceptance of the new version of the policy.

Purposes of Collecting and Processing Users' Personal Information

Mindbook collects and stores only the User's Personal Information necessary for providing services (fulfilling agreements and contracts with the User).

The User's Personal Information may be used by Mindbook for the following purposes:

  • Identification of the party within the framework of agreements and contracts with Mindbook;
  • Providing the User with personalized services;
  • Interaction with the User, including sending notifications, requests, and information regarding the use of Mindbook, providing services, as well as processing requests and applications from the User;
  • Improving the functionality and overall quality of existing Mindbook services, as well as developing new services and types of services for Users;
  • Conducting statistical and other research based on anonymized data;
  • Targeting advertising materials and content;

If it is necessary to use the User's Personal Information for purposes not mentioned in this Policy, Mindbook will request the User's prior consent/permission.

Conditions for Processing the User's Personal Information and Its Transfer to Third Parties

The processing of the User's personal data (User's Personal Information) is carried out by Mindbook in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. The confidentiality of the User's Personal Information is maintained, except in cases of voluntary provision of information by the User for general access to an unlimited number of people.

Mindbook has the right to transfer the User's Personal Information to third parties in the following cases:

  • The User has given their consent to such actions;
  • The transfer is necessary for providing a service to the User;
  • The transfer is necessary to comply with the requirements of the current legislation of the Russian Federation (including for the purposes of preventing and/or suppressing illegal and/or unlawful actions of Users). The disclosure of information provided by the User may only be made in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation at the request of the court, law enforcement agencies, or in other cases provided by the legislation of the Russian Federation;

Changing the User's Personal Information

The User can at any time change (update, supplement) the Personal Information provided by them or part of it by using the profile editing function.

The User can also completely delete the Personal Information provided by them within a specific account as well as the Materials and Information posted/uploaded by them by using the "Delete Account" function.

Changing the User's Personal Information

Mindbook takes the necessary and sufficient organizational and technical measures to protect the User's Personal Information from unauthorized access, destruction, alteration, blocking, copying, distribution, and other unlawful actions by third parties.

The Administration provides access to the User's Personal Information only to those employees, contractors, and partners of the Administration who need this information to ensure and improve the functionality of Mindbook, including the Site, and provide services to the User, and only to the extent necessary and corresponding to the purposes of processing.
